Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldnt find the answer.

I am using the chronoforms for joomla 1.7

I wanted to have the label word be inside of the field and have it disappear when you click in the field. Like how a search bar works. The field default value puts it in there but doesnt delete it once the mouse is clicked in there. is there another solution to this issue?

There a tutorial on this that you can get here for a small payment. It has versions for both CFv3 and CFv4. I've checked that is still working in Joomla! 2.5 and all seems to be well.

I did buy your tutorial ChronoForms placeholder labels

It works great so far.

But in my case I don't need all fields to have this function.

Is there a way to limit the placeholder labels to certain form fields?

I need it for the form fields "date" and "email" only, but not for "name" and "city".

Hi Patrick,

I'm sure that it's possible but probably required the code to be hacked so that you can select just some inputs, the simplest way to do that might be to add a class to the inputs that need labels and tweak the selector in the script to match.
