Prettify Database Output

Hi all,

I have a form (thanx Greyhead) that stores information in the database and want to hand this information to an Editor in Joomla (the whole backend) .

When calling the "Show saved data" option its not a at handy solution to look into the tables as every ID itself needs to be selected or the table exported. I'd like to create a more pretty list of this data, but i'm not sure how to achieve that.

Mmh, i would wish to have a much nicer display in chronoforms.

Would you suggest to switch to a component like "Logos Query Manager for J! 1.5" ?

Another way would be to create a component that just shows this database tables, anyone knows how difficult this will be. I'm not really fit at php or SQL (well that works somehow).

Thanx for information or any other ideas,

Hi phreak,

I suspect that Max has better data display somewhere on his long 'todo' list. I've no idea when that might appear though.

I don't know Logos query manager - I'll take a look (but it might not be tonight). Basically anything that can access MySQL will do the trick.

I tend to use the MySQL Query Browser because I can build a quick query to suit my needs - but that's not especially helpful if you don't know a bit of SQL and is nothing to do with Joomla.
