[ReSolved] Google ReCaptcha Not Showing

GoleyC 04 Jan, 2012
We have created our first form. Everything looks good in the backend, when we view it on the frontend, the Google ReCaptcha does not show.

We have made sure that the Public and Private keys have been entered. We've actually done it four or five times to make sure they are there.

What would be causing it to not show?

Hi GoleyC,

Which version of ChronoForms are you using? You can find the version from Site Admin | Extensions | Install/Uninstall | Components in Joomla! 1.5 or Site Admin | Extensions | Extension Manager | Manage in Joomla! 1.6.

It's CFv3 then please make sure that you have {ReCaptcha} in the Form HTML; if it's CFv4 please check the video below.

Hello,

Thank you for this post. I see the ReCaptcha box but it does not display in the Spanish language, even though the setting is correct...

It also displays on top of all the forms fields, not before the submit as it should.

Please advise if there is a setting I may be missed.

Thank you,
Alex

Hi Alex,

Do you have a RocketTheme template? I think that they include some code to locate the ReCaptcha box that over-rides the ChronoForms code.

Don't know about the language though. Please post a link to the form so I can take a quick look.

Bob
