Datetime Format in Chronoform

jllav03 03 Jan, 2012
I want to update my forms date format.

It currently looks like this: 2011/12/20 07:13:00
I want it to look like this: 12/20/2011 07:13:00

From reading the forums, a good way to do this is to update the en_GB.ini file. Below is what I have in my ini file. Can someone advice how to update it to reflect my changes? Thank you

# Date format

DATE_FORMAT_LC=%A, %d %B %Y
DATE_FORMAT_LC1=%A, %d %B %Y
DATE_FORMAT_LC2=%A, %d %B %Y %H:%M
DATE_FORMAT_LC3=%d %B %Y
DATE_FORMAT_LC4=%d.%m.%y
DATE_FORMAT_JS1=y-m-d
%Y-%M-%D=%Y-%m-%d
%A, %B %E=%A, %B %e

Hi jllav03,

I don't recognise any of this from ChronoForms. Neither the default date format or editing the language file.

Which version of ChronoForms are you using? You can find the version from Site Admin | Extensions | Install/Uninstall | Components in Joomla! 1.5 or Site Admin | Extensions | Extension Manager | Manage in Joomla! 1.6.

I don't see a ChronoForm listed under Component. I see Banners, ChronoConnectivity, DOCman and many others. Does it go by a different name? Ty

Hi jllav03 ,

ChronoForms v3 would be listed there as Chrono Contact (the old name for ChronoForms).

I've attached a Word screen shot of the entire section. I cannot find chronoforms.. weird.

Hi jllav03,

It's Chrono Contact, the third one on the page. You have v3 installed.

v3 installed right. Is there a solution to my date formatting problem? Thanks

Please search the forums for "Date format V3" and see what you can find, it has been a long time since V3 was actively used or developed, I can't remember how this was done.

Hi jllav03,

I was only looking to see if you were using ChronoForms v3 or v4 - you actually have version 3.2 which is the latest v3 release. There is a 'Date Format' box on the General tab where you can set the date format.
