Hi,

I have been fallowing the forum on javascript validation and tips that you gave for solving the issue,i have installed v4 and my validation is not working.

On reading i found that i should include a code jquery.noconflict(); but i am sorry that i am unaware of where to add this code, because i found many js's in my component/chronoforms/js locations? 3 js in formcheck and some in datepicker,so in which should i add?

on seeing video in youtube i did the settings, but i am not sure whether i should add auto javascript validation action in onload?pls guide on this settings too

HI kalai,

You appear to have randomly stuck the line jquery.noconflict(); into the ChronoForms JavaScript files and broken them. Please remove all of those entries.

I suggest that you then remove the component or template that uses JQuery from your site or ask the developer for a version that does not break MooTools scripts.

MooTools is the standard Joomla! JavaScript library and if you choose to use something else that conflicts with it - like JQuery; then you need to make sure that it runs in No Conflict mode. You can find more information on the JQuery site.

Hi kalaiyappan,

If you are new to Joomla! then it may be wiser not to use templates or extensions that require JQuery.

YOu can upload images to forum posts by using the Upload Attachment link under the post editor.
