{chronocontact} now Dead. Legacy Mode ?

phreak 07 Mar, 2008
Hi all,

I've installed the new RC2 Version of ChronoForms together with the 0.5 (tried the 0.6) Mambot/Plugin (Activated). After creating a form and putting the {chronocontact}myForm{/chronocontact} into custom Module, {chronocontact}myForm{/chronocontact} still appears there and not form can be seen.

I'm using Joomla 1.5.1 in Legacy Mode, has anybody come across this error ?

Thanx for Info

Sorry, i forgot to tell you that it is workin in articles.

But not in the Modules "custom" or "HTML". Mambot/Plugin is 0.5.

Anyone knows what to do ?

Post edited by: phreak, at: 2008/03/07 10:01

Hi phreak,

This is a question about where Joomla supports PlugIns. In Joomla 1.0.x you could only safely assume that they worked in Content pages, never in modules and not often in other components. I guess that the same is true in Joomla 1.5

There was a workaround to get PlugIns workingin modules for 1.0.x, I guess that something similar might be possible for 1.5 but I haven't seen it yet.

Hi Bob,

Mmh, ok. I've used the Chronoforms mambot under 1.0.12 and .13 in modules too.
But yes, as you said it was only possible with the workaround trough the "mycontent"-module.

The same module is under Alpha Stage for 1.5 and named "Place Here".

For me it works, i just need to define another content-page with a form loaded inside.

Thanx i forgot about the workaround.
