hi i am unable to install chronoforms even if a log in as a joomla administrator. i am using joomla 1.0.11 i get an error that the folder could not be created. all these folders are writeable

media/
administrator/components/
components/
images/stories/

as i could not install the component i asked the unix administrator of my hosting company to change the folders to writeable and they have changed the folder permission to 777. inspite of all these attempts i am unable to install chronoforms.

please advie a step by step process of what action i need to take in my case.

Can you install other components?

Can you ftp a file to those folders?

What error message do you get when you try to install?

Have you tried ftping the files and using the Joomla 'Install for Directory' option?
