How do i insert my form into a normal content item

Nicholas 13 Jun, 2007
I would like the new form i have just created with ChronoEngine to be inserted at the bottom of one of my already created content pages (after an article for example).

I currently have the form installed as a link from my main menu, however i would like this form to exist within an article, not as a page on its own.

Is this possible? If so, what do i need to do?.... Thanks!!

Hi,

As far as I know you can only use a ChronoForm on its own page at present. You could possibly work around this by including the article content on the form page.

Hi Nicholas, Bob,

This is possible with the help of a mambot, this is already under development but still not finished yet, once a working version is available it will be released.

a beta release will be available in 2 minutes at the download section, it will have a limitation is that no image verification will be working!!! so simply dont enable this.

Hi Max,
I have installed the Mambot, but i am new to Joomla and i cannot work out hot to use this Mambot to insert the form i want into the appropriate content item. I am presuming i have to do something on the content item itself, but i do not know to do this. Can you provide some quick instructions?
Many thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

I'm sure Max will answer soon but my guess is that you put something like {chronocontact}my_form_name{/chronocontact} into your normal content page where you want the form.

You just need to put the name of the form you want to show between : {chronocontact}&{/chronocontact}, Example: {chronocontact}form1{/chronocontact} where form1 is the form name which will be displayed!!
