type="password" not used

Joomla 1.5.23
Chronoforms 4.0 RC2.0

My password is visible when inputting.
I have used the Password event in making the form, but in the source of the page, I am seeing type="text", not type="password".

Does anyone have any insights?

Hi Badger,

I just checked with CFv4 in Joomla! 1.5 and in 1.6/1.7 and both show dots in a Password Box.
