Hello:
Just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions as my form does not work in internet explorer. It works fine in firefox and safari, but when I test it using I.E., nothing happens after I hit submit.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Hi alynst,
The most frequent cause of this is a Javascript conflict of some kind. It seems that IE is less tolerant than FF. Can be hard to debug though😟
Have you got validation on? If so, try turning it off and see if that fixes the problem.

Thanks for the reply Bob, but I did try turning validation off.
Any other possibilities?

Anyone have any other ideas? I may have to ditch Chronforms if I can't get it to work properly with IE.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Hi alynst,
Works fine for me with FireFox and IE7, don't have IE6 installed on this laptop I'm afraid.
ChronoForms *usually* works OK with IE6, at least as well as anything else does but IE6 is fussier than other browsers. The only way now of to diagnose this kind of problem is to work through step by step disabling the features on your page until you find what is causing the glitch. You could start off by using index2.php to test the form without the other Joomla modules.

Thanks Bob,
I actually figured it out. I had a <form> tag in the form and removed it. My error. But thanks for your input.
