Hi
Many many problems with upgrading to 2.3.7
"To upgrade from 2.0 you also need to add an extra field to the ChronoForms table in the database. "
what am I to name the field? Do I creat it at the end of the jos_chrono_contact table?
Platform: Joomla 1.0.13, MySQL, phpMyAdmin
When I try to do anything in the component I get this error...
<script> alert('moschronocontact::store failed <br />Unknown column \'onsubmitcodeb4\' in \'field list\' SQL=UPDATE jos_chrono_contact ............etc etc etc<br><br>Post edited by: Rrr, at: 2008/02/01 08:22

Hang on
uninstalled 2.3.7
reinstalled 2.3.7
had backed up one form of the three that I had and it went in.
It works! Data saved, good. But no email came through, bad. Will keep invetigating. There needs to be some extra instructions so that we can keep on using this software
ALL FIXED.<br><br>Post edited by: Rrr, at: 2008/02/01 09:37

Hi Rrr,
Sorry you had these problems - very few people seem to upgrade from earlier versions. You are correct, I should add the SQL to the upgrade instructions (I think that when I wrote them I was in a rush and didn't go back and look it up - Max has posted it in the forums somewhere I think).
Good that you got it fixed though.

Hi Bob,
Attached an upgrade form, when restored and viewed only 1 time at the frontend, it will add the needed field to the db, 2 steps DB upgrade for any user! Please add it to the Downloads area when you can, thank you!🙂
Sincerely,
Max [file name=UPGRADE_FORM_1.zip size=835]http://www.chronoengine.com/components/com_fireboard/uploaded/files/UPGRADE_FORM_1.zip[/file]
