Hello guys!!
So I tryed to play around a bit.
I enabled mootools in the frontend of my site,
my purpose was to give hints.
See for that:
<!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.benintegrati.it">www.benintegrati.it</a><!-- w -->
and move the mouse onto the icons at the right.
MT worked fine on other pages, but was not on the page where the chronoform was added.
see for that:
http://www.benintegrati.it/concorso
icons hints not working anymore..
the bad thing is that I did a JS validation that was working fine
with RC1, but it's not with RC4.
hints are no more showned, despite the JS is loaded in the form code to generate the chronoform.
I thought that maybe it causes conflicts...
so i was on purpose to use mootools to validate forms as well to give hints.
There are examples of that.
I tryed to use mootools on a simple html page, to test it on a form, and it works fine.
Unfortunately, if the form is generated with CC inside Joomla it doesent.
I sent you the formcheck I used.
(give credits to the guy who did it!)
If you analyse the code, you'll see that as parameters the guy use the form name,
i tryed to modify it giving "chronoforms_nameform_1", but no results.
Have you ever tryed to use mootools with CC?
It could be good to load down the JS that could be featured by mootools..
Could you give the attached a view and test it as well, in html apart and with CC in Joomla?
I'm happy to contribute to make CC look great!
It is very usefeul! [file name=formcheck.zip size=81028]http://www.chronoengine.com/components/com_fireboard/uploaded/files/formcheck.zip[/file]

Hi gg4j,
You don't need to enable Mootools in Joomla 1.5 - Joomla uses it and installs it anyhow. You actually have it loaded twice on your home page.
The problem with the ChronoForms page is that both Mootools & Prototype are loaded and they conflict.
Max has added a Mootools option for validation into ChronoForms 2.3.7 for Joomal 1.0.x and I expect that this will be in the next release for Joomal 1.5 as well.

oh i see..
but i did'nt get it how to use mootools if it is already loaded by default in J1.5
should i declare the JS call in the index.php?
when will it be available for CC working in J1.5?
is the 2.3.7 upgrade working for the J1.5 version?
(the 2.5Ja) ?
THANKS!
