Question about Validation - do we need any more?

rodsdesign 19 Jan, 2008
Hi

If we use the built in form validation that comes with Chronoforms, do we need to do any more javascript or php validation? (Unless of course, something isn't covered by chronoforms...)

btw - i love chronoforms... and if you haven't donated... geez why not?🙂

thanks

I also have question

If I do validation enable YES and Antispam YES
the form don't find validation code

What to do?

Hi Beata,

These two work together OK on a simple site. On your webpages you have half-a-dozen different Javascript scripts loading (see below) and I'd guess that there are some conflicts between them.

ChronoForms validation gives you a choice between prototype and mootools - I don't know if it will work with prototype.lite.

PS I found five embedded snippets + prototype.lite.js, moo.fx.js, litebox-1.0.js, header_parapijos.txt and dw_scroller.js before you add the ChronoForms scripts.<br><br>Post edited by: GreyHead, at: 2008/01/19 15:56

It is good if I will not get spammers without Antispam image or code.

You want to say that I can't use other js in your form for instance to prevent submit form without writing an email ?

Hi Beata,

You can use any Javascript you like - but you must expect that you may get conflicts and then you have to deal with them.
