Joomla's Login Module on seperate page

GuidanceRI 27 Dec, 2007
Hey All,

Sort of an off the wall question for this form but I get answer quickly here so...

I want to display my login page much like how this site does (see here). How am I able to do this? I want to use an image to link to a login / registration page... Can anyone help?

Thanks,
RP

Hi RP,

The page you linked to is just using the standard Joomla Login module - linking to {mysite}/index.php?option=com_login should do it for you.

Bob,

Thanks! Now when it goes to the next page it says "You are not authorized to view this resource. You need to login." I have published the login form module (in a position that it cannot be seen) and made it public.

Any clue?

Thanks,
RP

Hi RP,

Sorry I don't understand what is happening? What's the "next page" that gives this message? The Joomla login page?

Bemused

Hi Qbik,

I guess that you need to look at the action for the standard Login page and have your form do the same.
