Hello,
Kind of new to all this so I apologize. I followed the tutorial "paid registration using paypal plugin".
I have it working....kind of. I have two issues.
1. Will not register....
2. It seems like it loops twice and does two transactions? sometimes the amount is the same and sometimes one amount is more.

If someone could point me in the right direction, that would be great.
Thanks,
josh

Hi Josh,
Sorry, this is Max's plug-in. I have no experience with it and don't have a PayPal account with the API enabled to test with.
I think that the 'free' version with CFV3 has a randomiser built-in to the amount - that might explain the amoutn switching between $140 and $70
The registration failure might be because of the order of the plug-ins - is the Joomla! Registration plug-in before the PayPal plug-in?
The double payment . . . I don't know, I'd go hunting for some kind of a loop? Maybe the PayPal return address is re-loading the form? I'm guessing here though.

Thanks again, I didn't have the registration plugin enabled. It does not loop the transactions anymore, instead the amount multiplies. In debug mode, the amount is 35.
I do not understand this randomiser if it passes through 35? Any help would be great. Here is my new form....
