Hi
I have tried to find this on an existing thread but obviously am not looking for the right keywords! I have a form up and running really well but the email results are going to my junk folder. How do I overcome this?
Also, I would like the form to be presented in a template so that when it prints out it looks like a form, not a data dump! Any thoughts on how this works?
Look forward to your help as I love this component and I am happy to pay for it if I can get the thing cruising!

The question to ask is why the emails are going to your junk folder? Are you using a 'real' From address or a generic one like [email]'admin@example.com[/email].? Do you have the From address you are using in your address book? Is it white-listed at your ISP?

These are all basic e-mail management questions - nothing really to do with ChronoForms which seems to be doing it's job.

To format the results email you can create a template using html (and php if you like). See the 'Email template' field on the 'Form Code' tab.

I am using a real email address - and it is my one for testing purposes and all emails to me come through just fine. It's a bit wierd isn't it? I wondered if it was because it was a joomla based email form/

OK, let's have a think. Please will you open up the source of one of the emails and post the headers here (blank out any private material) - or email as an attachment to info at greyhead.net. And please turn on Debug in the General tab (and temporarily remove any redirect url from the Form URLs tab) then submit the form and copy and paste the debug info here.

Nothing much in there that looks as though it's going to trip any junk filters unless it's the style of the whole email. It all looks good to me.

Please will you look at the email and see if you can find the headers - usually through 'View Source', or in Outlook it's View | Options. What I'm looking for is something like this

Hi vonee,

Thanks for the headers, they look completely normal.

I don't see why these should be going to junk. However, something is triggering a junk filter at your incoming mail server.

A couple of things to try: 1) add [email]helen@helenharm.com[/email] and [email]janet@helenharm.com[/email] to your address list and to any email whitelist you have; 2) change the From and Reply To names from 'Admin' to 'Helen' and 'Janet'.
