Hi,
Not sure if this is a bug, or just another bugger-up by me.
Been using Chronoforms V3.2 for a long time and all was going well until (fairly) recently. I had to build a new form on a site and the entire Form Wizard's Drop and Drag feature has failed. The elements pick up but they don't actually add. The text just sits wherever it is dumped.
This is affecting the form in Step 1 and the Emails in Step 2. The floating text remains present through all 4 steps, not that it matters as none of it actually works because the elements won't add.
The forms that were built before are fine, and are continuing to operate properly. If I attempt to edit them I cannot add any new fields or edit the ones that are there. I managed to build a form in a different site I have access to and move it over to temporarily solve the problem, but every time it needs to be edited, its an absolute nuisance.
Any ideas?

Hi soshannessy,
You probably have the MooTools Upgrade Plugin enabled. This is an optional plug-in that enables the MooTools 1.2 library on your site.
ChronoForms v3 (and many other Joomla! extensions) use the MooTools 1.1.2 library that is installed by default. The ChronoForms Wizard, and other back-end code will not run with the plugin enabled.
If you disable the plug-in then ChronoForms v3 should run correctly.
Note ChronoForms v4 requires MooTools 1.2 and need the plug-in enabled.
If you are using ChronoForms v3 and need MooTools 1.2 in the front-end of your site then there is a hack for the plug-in posted in the forums here that will enable the 1.2 library in the front-end only. However the ChronoForms validation code and some other features will not work with this version.
There's a fuller "How-to Document" here that includes fixed files that will let the front-end of ChronoForms v 3.2 work with MooTools 1.2.

Hey GreyHead,
Solved. Thanks for that turning off the plugin worked perfectly. Guess I can always disable the plugin when changes are needed. I'd rather not lose the other functionality.

Hi Edlothiad ,
First please logout of Joomla!, clear your browser cache and the log back in again. This should clear any copies of the old file that may be around.
If you still have a problem then please use your browser tools to check which version(s) of MooTools is actually being loaded.
