change email subject didn't take effect

I followed the faq to custom the email subject,
Q.Can I change my email subject ?
A.Yes, do this by changing the Email Subject field of the form, in this case you need to have the Custom as the choosen option for the Email Results.


However, the email received didn't have a subject at all.

Then you missed something, read comments and hover over the tooltips to know what each field will do.

I am trying to figure out how to change the subject to be the same as some form fields. The tooltip doesn't say how to enter it. Would it be like this: {name} ? or maybe like this: "name" -- to get the name that someone entered on the form? Any help appreciated. Thanks Max.
