error in IE7

rnomis 10 Apr, 2007
I use Firefox to test and forget I have IE7 installed until someone says "there is a problem with this page"
Here we go again!
I constructed a form with a dropdown box. When a selection is made, a new form appears in the window - or at least it should.

The form address is:
http://www.schoolcellar.co.uk/component/option,com_chronocontact/chronoformname,sector_select/Itemid,44/

When the first selection is made (the only one with a form at present) the user is redirected to:
http://www.schoolcellar.co.uk/index.php?option=com_performs&formid=4
However, with IE7, the user is redirected to:
http://www.schoolcellar.co.uk/component/option,com_chronocontact/chronoformname,sector_select/Itemid,44/index.php?option=com_performs&formid=4

as you can see, the IE7 redirect just adds the form address onto the original page address where as Firefox correctly redirects the user to the new form.
I can't see I have made a mistake anywhere. The form uses javascript for the redirection selecting from an array.

Not critical at present as the site is still in design/test mode but any help would be appreciated to sort out this problem/bug.

With Firefox, it's a great component. Keep up the great work.

A bit of lateral thinking and it got sorted! I just added: http://www.schoolcellar.co.uk/ in front of each of the javascript links and the ChronoEngine address disapeared.
