Hi,
as in subject, I'm running CF4 in Joomla 1.7. JS built-in validation works fine on Firefox and Safari, but it's not working at all in IE9. I read about upgrading Mootools, but as far as I know Joomla 1.7 is delivered with Mootols 1.3, and I just can't find anyone here working with both CF4 and J1.7

All starred fields should be required, plus an alpha and no-digit validation in first and second field and an e-mail validation on the e-mail field.
As this set of landing-page/thank-you-page is pretty light, I'm not using particular scripts or plugins that may get in conflict with CF4.

Please light a match, I'm goingo blind with this...

Hi vanillami,

There seesm to be some subtle problem with MooTools 3 and IE9. There's a code snippet in this post to force IE9 into IE8 mode on the form page. Please see if that does the trick.
