Solve export to excel data corruption issue

I need to export a table to excel and cannot get beyond the corrupt data issue. I have read all the threads and the solutions are either beyond my skills or do not work. Time is of the essence here.

The problem is the Mootools plugin... I disabled it and the option to export to excel works just fine!
