First, i'd like to thank you for the tools you provide.
Second, it's my first use of chronoform, so i certainly do not know what I m talking about here. Sorry about that.
Third, i m pretty new to joomla too, so that makes things worse. (and i know nothing about PHP)
Forth, my issue may have been dealt with in others threads, in which case, please forgive me for this redundant question. But As I don't know how to explain my problem in few words, it makes it difficult to get any results on the search engine.
My contact form works randomly, even with debugger loaded. Sometimes I get the debugging info and email get sent, other times it goes right back to empty form without any debugging info and no email sent.
I just installed online a joomla 1.7 site. Tried to add a captcha on the default joomla contact form, but couldn't find any solution. so i went for your Chronoform.
I installed the compnent, the plugin (mambo?) and the module. I m not sure I needed them all. I have to confess I didn't quite catch the install requirements.
Installation succeded.
I ran the easy wizard to build a contact form.
But then the pdf tutorial indicated the action / events tabs, which are not in the easy wizard view. So i switched to the wizard .
I found your videos on youtube (thanks for that too) and modified the events according to your instructions.
I didn't modify any of the other events that get loaded through the easy wizard ( Load JS; Load CSS; Handle Arrays; DB Save; Custom Code - After Email(s); ) for I don't know what they do.
Since then the form is working part time. I'd rather give it a full time job.
Question 1 : is there any way to know what is the cause of the malfunctionning, since the debbuger doesn't work when it happens)?
Question 2 : I m not sure I set up the events to send an email copy when radio button ticked. I think I set up email 2 to send an email every time, radio button ticked or not. Where can I find a how to regarding setting up the send a copy feature?
