E-Mail confirmation with E-Mail adress from a textbox

Huonker 21 Oct, 2011
Hello
I have a question. Can I somehow send an automatic generated E-Mail using an E-Mail which has been written in a form. I would like to send a kind of confirmation that the form has been submitted sucessfully.
Thank you

Regards

Hi Peter,

Yes, put the name of the email input in the To box on the Dynamic Tab in the Email configuration. Leave the To on the static tab empty other settings on the Static tab empty but enter the Subject, From Email and From Name there.

Hi Bob
I was trying now a bit with the dynamic box:
It works perfectly with the dynamic. You just wrote that I have to leave the To box empty. Is there a possibility to send the form to the customer adress AND to my home adress? How would you suggest.
In addition to that is there a possibility to send one kind of E-Mail template to my home adress and a second different template to the customer?
I thank you very much

Hi Peter,

I think that you can use both the Static & Dynamic To Emails at the same time. But more often you send two different emails - just drag another Email Action into the OnSubmit event and configure it.
