ChronoForm doesnt show!

frontal 20 Oct, 2011
Hi,

I am using Chronoforms V4 on a Joomla 1.15.20 install. Everything is installed the correct way and the installation is validated.
I am using a custom-made table/form inside my one and only form.
Everything seems normal, but the form isnt showing in front-end at all?

Can someone help me please?

Hi frontal,

You probably need to add a Show HTML action. Please check this video.

You should also upgrade to 1.5.24, some of the intermediate versions of Joomla! were buggy.

is it possible to add this feature on a custom-made form, like mine? I didnt use the wizard to make my form...this is the way I have always used ChronoForm in earlier versions at least.

Hi frontal,

Yes, you can paste or include your Form HTML into the form Code tab and then use the Events and Actions to manage the display and processing.

hi,

Thanks for replying :-)

First part is ok, but in what way should I edit actions and events to make it appear?

Hi frontal,

Use the Wizard in exactly the same way as the video. Set the form type to 'Custom' in the code tab to lock out the Preview tab.

Thanks again :-)

But I really want to custom-make my form, just as I used to in the previous versions of ChronoForms. Isnt that possible in this version?

Hi forntal,

Sorry, I don't understand the question? What do you want to custom make that you can't?

My form is quite big, so in earlier versions of your software I could easily make the tables in Dreamweaver, and then paste the code into Chronoforms.
I have done the same thing this time as well, NOT using any wizards.
So, the problem is that this form isnt visible in front end...how can I fix that?

Yes...but then I have to use the wizard...making it impossible for me to use my custom table-code...

Hi frontal,

No, that's not how it works. Have you tried?
