Mambot for J1.6

hpinson 12 Oct, 2011
Hello. I need to embed a form in an article, and in the past have used the mambot to do so:

{chronocontact}my_form_name{/chronocontact}

I can't seem to find the Mambot for the J1.6 version to download.

Where is the mambot, or has procedure changed for embedding a form in an article?

Hi hpinson,

They’ve been renamed plug-ins since Joomla! 1.5. You can download the Joomla! 1.6/1.7 version from the downloads link above. NB The syntax has changed a little, please check the notes.

Hi Bob. I'm a bit disoriented since last using Chronoforms. Much has changed.

I have the plugin installed. The only "Note" I have been able to find is in the FAQ section of the website, which states:

{chronocontact}my_form_name{/chronocontact}

Which is not working for some reason. Can you point me to the documentation you are referencing?

Oh, I see. The syntax has changed from:

{chronocontact}my_form_name{/chronocontact}

to

{chronoforms}my_form_name{/chronoforms}

Makes sense.

Hi hpinson,

That's it, well found.

I think there's a note in the Plug-in Configuration page that I had in mind. I have to look up so see if it is chronoform or chronoforms :-(

{chronoforms}nnn{/chronoforms} is what I am using (just checked).
