mambot sending to wrong email

deafbiz 25 Sep, 2007
I am using the latest mambot 0.4 (and 0.3) and I use it as a quickie form for some content. When the form is filled out, I wanted it to go to a certain email address in Chronoform. However it doesn't do that but instead sends email to address in Joomla Admin Configuration.

What's causing this?

Update: It's actually sending out duplicates - one to the intended recipients and one to me as webmaster of record in Global Configuration.

Hi Judy,

I think thats because you have your webmaster email somewhere in the PHP code or somewhere else, its impossible for the ChronoForms to get your main joomla email and send to it itself!! or may be you have some config at your cpanel to duplicate emails ? not sure really🙂

Cheers

Nope, nothing there. It worked before under another domain at the same webhosting company so should've worked, and all I had to do was to change domain name.

I'm still testing and I find out that some other forms are creating dupes as well.

Update: if you use the word "email" in the email field, then the recipients also get the email. That explains the dupes.

I think this solved the problem.

Carry on.<br><br>Post edited by: deafbiz, at: 2007/09/25 20:17

Hi Judy,

Sure, because your email field in the form is called "email" so it sends there too😉

Thanks!
