Hi,

I can't get recaptcha to work. My forms show {chronocaptcha_img}. I have searched the forum but been unable to work out the solution.
Is there guide somewhere or tutorial that shows you how to use it?

Hi Phil,

Do you mean ReCaptcha - or just the standard ChronoForms built-in image verification? Both are available, they are set up in slightly different ways.

Sorry it's taken a while but I've finally managed to start creating a series of ChronoForms v4 video tutorials. As they were prompted in part by your request here both Captcha and ReCaptcha are in the first group to be released.

Thanks Greyhead, the video is very helpful but ..! When I enter incorrect recaptcha data the form reloads with the following in the email data entry box:

Hi Phil,

You have the Joomla! Email Cloaking Plug-in enabled and it is trying to cloak the sample e-mail in the ChronoForms validation message. Disable the plug-in temporarily to check this is the problem. If you need the plug-in change the plug-ins order so that Email Cloaking runs before ChronoForms.

NB These are Joomla! plug-ins that you manage from Site Admin | Extensions | Plug-in Manager
