Hi,
I'm using chronofroms V3 for joomla 1.5
I tried to install the zip to upgrade to RC5.6.1
I got the following error message and i can't go to the from page on my site anymore (error 404):
Warning: zip_entry_read() [function.zip-entry-read]: The bytes parameter must greater then zero in /homez.354/poussett/www/libraries/joomla/filesystem/archive/zip.php on line 238
I tried to uninstall the previous version and then install the new zip, but same error messages.
I have to remove the form page from my website untill i figure something out !
I could really use some help here
THanks a lot

Hi florian_lemaitre,
The current release if ChronoForms 3.2 (in the 3 series). You probably don't want to upgrade to RC5.6.1
Which version do you have installed?
From the error messages it sounds as though you may have a damaged installation package/

Hi Bob,
I guess I miss understood what's written here :
"If you have V3.1 RC3, RC4, RC4.11 or RC5.x installed then DO NOT uninstall, just use this automatic first time/upgrade pack which will upgrade the versions mentioned earlier to RC5.6.1, you may need to go to the "Upgrade SQL" page to fix some Database tables fields too, users with earlier versions should uninstall first, pay attention to backup your forms before uninstallation or you will lose them!"
Anyway, I have uninstalled every component, downloaded the 3.2 version, and got the error message when I try to install it :
Warning: zip_entry_read() [function.zip-entry-read]: The bytes parameter must greater then zero in /homez.354/poussett/www/libraries/joomla/filesystem/archive/zip.php on line 238
So my question is the same, what does it mean and what i'm supposed to do to fix this ?
Thanks again.

Hi Bob,
I've updated to php5 (I known...) and it solved some of my issues.
The component and plugin installations work fine.
But when I try to install the module, it fails, and the error message says :
"Module Installation: another module already uses that folder /homez.354/poussett/www/modules/mod_chronocontact"
Do you have any guess ?
Thanks a lot.
Florian

Hi Florian,
Apologies for the confusing description; Max has updated the downlad version but hasn't updated the description to match :-(
Please try uninstalling the old ChronoForms Module. If that doesn't work then you can find the folder and delete it. You may also need to delete the entry in the jos_modules table.

I've already deleted the entry in the jos_modules table. Guess I should just delete the folder and everything's gonna work out fine.
Thanks again for your help Bob !
