Chronoforms installed correctly but without css styles

alitardo 17 Sep, 2011
Hello,

I've installed the Chronoforms Component, plugin and module on a 1.7 installation using the Modulus template from RocketThemes and it does not show any styiling, see image attached.

Version 1.5 worked perfectly on other Rocket Theme installations.
Any help is greately appreciated.

Hi alitardo ,

Please check if you have the Rok Zipper (or some similar name) plug-in enabled, if you do please try disabling it. It's known to mess with loading the CSS & JS files.

Hi Bob,

It was a question of permissions on the server that prevented access to the admin css file.
This was solved,

It seems my js folder is also unable to be loaded for the same reason.

Question:
If I change permissions on these items to 775 am I creating a security hole in which an SQL injection or other exploits may be used on the site?

Hi alitardo,

Neither of these folders need to be writable or executable (except to install them) so I think that 644 should be OK. You shouldn't be exposed to anything out of the ordinary by setting them to 755 though provided that your site is normally secure.
