Hi,
I installed ChronoForms and filled in all the field as recommended, I copy/pasted my css Styles and my html code. Then I created a Link - URL. This works and the Forms lokks perfect. Then I fill in the fields and send the form, but I didn't recieve any mail (I also checked the Spam Folder)
There's one thing that makes me think: The "auto generated code" field is empty.
What can be the mistake?π
Hi,
Dont care about the auto generated as this will be filled ONLY if you made a table to store your form submitted values.
I think you may have a problem with the mailer, check ur joomla global config and assure that the mailer has been right configured (PHP mail function).

Hi,
the configuration was PHP mail function.
Maybe it's possible that this doesn't work on my server?
Can I see it in the Server config? Didn't find something like that.
Is ist possible to send the form with SMTP?
Hi,
If you want to know if ur site will send emails or not then register some user from the frontend, if ur super admin account has a real email then u will get an email, this will let u be sure that the site sends emails.
next step is to assure that you dont have anything inside the action URL field of Chronoforms, otherwise it wont send tooπ
Cheers,
Max

Hi,
I am receiving the same problem, i have a form that looks good but when i send it the email isn't sent although i can view the inputted data in the backend.
My site uses SMTP to send emails.
Do I need specific javascript/php to assist my form to is it the fact that i am using a SMTP server than the PHP mail function.
