I'm having persistent problem receiving this error message.
I understand how to set frontend group permissions. I'm super admin and admin assistant is admin. We have admin and superadmin highlighted (dark grey) as well as our categories highlighted for each of the boxes ("view user groups", "'new record' user group", etc.).
We both receive the above error message. Earlier today I was able to log in and not get it. She was never able to. Then when she emailed me she still hadn't and I logged in again I received the message again.
I've cleaned browser and website caches. No joy.
Suggestions?
Thanks,
Scott

Also, When I log into the backend I see a 1/2 dozen or so logins for my username that do not have the red x in the log out column - even though I log out each time. What does this mean? How do I clear those (log out if I'm still logged in).

I set view user groups permissions to all: Public through superadmin hightlighted, saved. Cleaned browser and Joomla cache. Still same error message
I changed password via phpmyadmin. Now she can log in and view form (as can I).
Now she writes she cannot delete record so I've reduced delete permissions to admin and superadmin. Will post whether this works for her.

Yes, that worked.
Any idea why I needed to do these steps to fix this problem - both the change password in the database and then having change permissions for delete?

Hi Scott,
Glad to see you found a way to get it working.
I don't know what causes the problems. Usually I ignore the built in permissions in ChronoConnectivity and build my own code directly from the Joomla! User object.
