Hi matrix,
Sorry, I have no idea what is needed :-( I don't think that there is any ChronoForms code that specifically filters out special characters for file inputs.

Hi matrix,
Have you checked with your web host to see if your server supports file names with special characters? As I said I don't think that there is anything in ChronoForms that will remove them.

Hi Matrix,
Yes, the file name will pass through a name safe function which will remove those umlauts, are they necessary ? if you need this then I will have a to add an option to enable/disable the file name safe processing.

Max

hi
when it's possible, to make an option for this, that was GREAT!
and many thanks for the feedback, that is a pass-trought controll. i have search on many ways (include by hosting), what's the problem.
can you post here, when this option is implemented?
thanks
