A Page with summary

derkleinepawel 30 Aug, 2011
Hi

I built an order form. That worked out well. My Problem: Before the form is submitted, a page with summary should appear. Here you can check all the data you have entered. This page should have two buttons. The first button for "submit" and the other for "correct". If you click the submit button, you should get a thanks-message and the form should be send. But if you click "correct", you should have a chance to correct your data without loosing any information.

Is this possible using the standard functionality? I use Joomla 1.5

Hi Pawel,

Which version of ChronoForms are you using? You can find the version from Site Admin | Extensions | Install/Uninstall | Components in Joomla! 1.5 or Site Admin | Extensions | Extension Manager | Manage in Joomla! 1.6.

There are Confirmation Page options for both versions. The plug-in for CFv3 has some limitations though. The action for CFv4 is OK but can be a little tricky to get running smoothly. There are a couple of current threads about this.

Hi bob! Thanks for your answer. I'm using version 4.0 RC1.9 with joomla 1.5.23. Unfortunetly I am not allowed to update to J1.6. This is a project of my company an my job is to set up the form.

The whole thing is a bit complicated for me😟 But I try to give my best... I will continue to look around and search for information here.

Hey,

I have the same problem: I am trying to set up a summary page with version 4.0 RC3.5.1.

I did not find any post regarding this ... could you give me a hint or post a link to the topic?

Many thanks

Many thanks for that great tutorial. Just one last question: I want to send the result by email. If I add the action - as shown on the screenshot of your FAQ page - to the On Submit event after the Confirmation Page action the emails is already sent before confirming.

What am I doing wrong?πŸ™‚

Hi Jaokb,

Sorry, my mistake, I missed one action.

In the On Show event please drag in a Show Stopper action as the last action to stop the remaining actions from running.

I'll go and update the tutorial.
