Captcha and Confirm Email problems (Joomla 1.7)

Hi!
I've successfully installed chronoforms v. 4 into my joomla 1.7 system.
I've successfully created a simple form (name, email, question, submit) and it's working fine

Now I need 2 more steps: 1) captcha and 2) email confirmation

1) I've configured captcha, setting captcha input into "elements" and setting in "events" load captcha (tryed both with and without font support) and check captcha (enabled: yes)
Now, when I go to my form page I can see only the "Enter the code" field, but NO captcha....seems invisible....going deeply into the html code, this is what I get in the part in which it's supposed to be the captcha image:
<img alt="" src="http://www.example.it/components/com_chronoforms/chrono_verification.php?imtype=1">
Seems it's not loading the captcha image but dunno why....what's wrong?

2) I need a way to have:
E-Mail ---------
E-Mail Confirm --------
But I really dunno how to get it...in chronoforms 3 was pretty easy, here seems this feature it's not available....can someone help me?

does it show anything ?

2- What do you mean by "Email confirm" ? you want the user to receive an email to confirm his email address before proceeding with the form submission ?

About point 1:
I get this message from my browser:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

About point 2, I've solved with a custom server side validation in Events

i have setup cronoform in joomla 1.5 and want Email and Conformation Email field as like password and conform password. So can you tell me how can i do it . And really thanks for build this type of form .i need this solution urgently pls help me.

Which version of ChronoForms are you using? You can find the version from Site Admin | Extensions | Install/Uninstall | Components in Joomla! 1.5
