email not sending unless debug on

Hello,

I apologize if this is a redundant question, i tried to search the forum and did not see it.

But i am having a problem with the sending of emails. the emails send only when the debug is on. when it is not, i do not receive emails. obviously i dont want to publish the site live with the debug on. is there an easy solution to this? i reviewed the tutorial and followed it completely. also, i saw several of the other posts and made sure that my from address matches my domain. any suggestions?

Hi joe m,

Which version of ChronoForms are you using? You can find the version from Site Admin | Extensions | Install/Uninstall | Components in Joomla! 1.5 or Site Admin | Extensions | Extension Manager | Manage in Joomla! 1.6.

Please take a Form Backup using the icon in the Forms Manager and post it here (as a zipped file) or PM or email it to me and I'll take a closer look.

i am using V3.2.

Also, I just rechecked and my previous test emails did eventually make it though. they just too hour longer to arrive than the ones when the debug is on. so, i guess i dont have a problem. sorry to bother, and your quick responses are amazing. thanks, keep up the good work.

Hi joe m.,

I can't think of any logical reason why having debug on or off would make any difference. Maybe just chance at work . . .
