Enabling recaptcha on 'Edit Record"

Laus 22 Jul, 2011
I have followed the superb tutorials from GReyhaed.net and added a long form, collated results to a table, and added edit record buttons to the table listing.

However, when the edit record page appears it looks like the recaptcha plug-in is not enabled for ChronoConnectivity so all that appears is {Recpatcha} and of course it will not accept any edits as it gives the error "You have entered an incorrect verification code at the bottom of the form"

Anyway around this? Couldn't find anything in tutorials or previous subjects, if I have missed one can you direct me to an answer.

Many thanks.

Hi Laus,

I simply don't use the {edit_record} links in ChronoConnectivity. Instead I add a direct link to the form (or a copy of the form) and use the Profile Plug-in to load the data for editing. It works well and avoids the problems that seem to arise with using the CC built-in links.

I had the same problem, but the good thing for me was that only front end users needed to edit the results, so i just made a form without the recaptcha for the editing.
