Joomla 1.7 was released today and I was wondering if the latest version of ChronoForms was compatible.
thanks
Hi riga75,
I don't know, have you tried it? I just downloaded a copy of Joomla! 1.7 but haven't yet installed it. As I understand the releae it has no major changes so ChronoForms should be OK.
Bob
No unfortunately I did not even because I have some difficulty, endorsed to update.
I made up everything I can and just try to upgrade and I tell you.
thanks

Hi riga75,
I just upgraded my test site to Joomla! 1.7 and ChronoForms appears to be working without any problem - though I have only tested the basic operations. The Wizard works, forms display and submit.
I had problems upgrading - I tried the automatic upgrade and that failed completely with a processor timeout. I was successful FTPing up the files but the upgrade package now contains two zipped files and no instructions that I could find about what needs to be uploaded or in what order. I just unpacked both and FTPd them to the site; the smaller one didn't change the site version, the larger one did.

I updated two one I did everything right with the automatic update in the latter, I had to do it manually.
I found that when I send an email with the form should open a page that says the email was sent etc but it does not, bugs?

Hi riga75,
The Thank You Page seems to be working OK for me.
Bob
I've not tried it with two forms created with no wizard, but does not work in neither case, how can I do?
Hi riga75,
Please take a Form Backup using the icon in the Forms Manager and post it here (as a zipped file) or PM or email it to me and I'll take a closer look.
Bob
Hi riga75,
It seems to work OK here.
Bob
Hi riga75,
Your form on my server running Joomla! 1.7
Bob
I ran into following problem ...
I have updated joomla to 1.7 and created a new chrono form.
Everything is okay as long as I don't activate the chonoforms content plugin.
Which gives me a redirect error.
I have the joomla core SEF activated and also a chronoform in an modul position
on every page.
Can someone check if this problem occurs in his (test) joomla installation?
If this error can be verified, does someone has a quick fix?
If any further information like other plugins or modules is need I will post it as soon as requested.
works like charm, thank you very much and keep on going your great support and Max's great development in the number one forms component.🙂
