Hello,

I was very much looking into trying out Chronoforms, however when I installed it, it installed into the wrong directory. I tried to uninstall it from the Joomla extension manager, but I got the following message:

JFolder: :files: Path is not a folder. Path: /home2/themomfe/public_html/administrator/components/com_chronoforms
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file

Could not delete the administrator menus.
Component Uninstall: Can't uninstall. Please remove manually

So I searched through public_html/ and deleted all files related to chronoforms. However, the component still shows up in my extension manager, and in my components menu.

Please help me uninstall this so I can reinstall it and try this component properly.

I don't know how ChronoForma could install in the wrong directory??

As well as the administrator/components/com_chronoforms/ and components/com_chronoforms/ folders there are a couple of administrator language files and two database tables (though leaving these tables in place shouldn't cause any probles with a re-install).

You will also have to hunt down some Joomla! created database records - I think that they are in the jos_components and possibly jos_menus tables.
