ChronoForms and Joomfish

lithium2k 18 Jul, 2011
Hi,

I am using Joomfish and Chronoforms.

There is an error where when I switch to French language, the top navigation menu of my website is the only thing which does NOT translate. It used to translate...but now since chronoforms it does not.

I have read about this problem before, with no solutions.

Any ideas please? I am desperate

Hi lithium2k,

Which version of ChronoForms are you using? You can find the version from Site Admin | Extensions | Install/Uninstall | Components in Joomla! 1.5 or Site Admin | Extensions | Extension Manager | Manage in Joomla! 1.6.

Hi lithium2k,

I'm not aware of any problems with Joomfish and ChronoForms v3.2. ChronoForms doesn't integrate with Joomfish but shouldn't interfere with it either.

I can't think of any reason why ChronoForms would influence the translation of a menu. Please post a link to the form so I can take a quick look.

Hi lithium2k ,

I can see that the menu doesn't translate but I don't see any sign of a ChronoForm?

The chronoforms are on the contact page and a few other pages.

They are not present on that front page, but the issue still persists.

I have to say that I noticed this error only after I started using/setting up my chronoforms etc...

That is why i started searching and sure enough, i found that other forum post with the similar problem.

Hi lithium2k,

I have to say that it looks like coincidence to me. I still can't think of any way that ChronoForms will affect the menus on pages where it isn't used.
