Create a Link in Chrono Forms

moketni 06 Jul, 2011
Hi there

I am asking this question because I can't seem to find anything on the forum about it. Please forgive me if it has already been dealt with.

I have created an Application form for my visitors to complete, however I need a link to my Terms and Conditions page place in the Application form as a link.

This should allow them to be able to click on the "Terms and Conditions" link within the Application form if they have not read it before.

So basically, I'm just looking to add an URL to my Application Form.

Thank you for your help, I do appreciate it.

Hi moketni,

You can use a 'Text' element in ChronoForms v3 or a 'Custom Element' in ChronoForms v4.

Hi there

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I am using v3, if I use the text element then the link shows up as plain text 'http://www.mysite.com/myform.php' and is not a link but just plain text, am I missing something here.

I need my client to be able to click on the link and that will take him to the T&C's.

I need to somehow insert '<a href="myform.php">Read it here</a>' into the form.

What is the 'PlaceHolder' for? could I not use that in the Form, and if I can how?

Thank you for your help, it is appreciated

Wow, it works by inserting the following '<a href="myform.php">Read it here</a> into the 'Text' element!

Sorry for the previous post, I should have tested it before writing.

Thanks a stack. 😀
