Data not showing in Table

Hi, i need help, i have created a form and a table but when i test my form and submit data nothing appears in the table which i have connected to the form. What can be problem? need help. Do i need to be doing something different. I used the pdf tutorials but my data is just not storing in the table. please someone help me out.

Which version of ChronoForms are you using? You can find the version from Site Admin | Extensions | Install/Uninstall | Components in Joomla! 1.5 or Site Admin | Extensions | Extension Manager | Manage in Joomla! 1.6.

In ChronoForms v3 you need to set up the DB Connection tab; in CFv4 you need to use a DB Save action in the OnSubmit event.

Hi , thanks for your quick response. I am using version 4, and i have already setup the DBsave in the onsubmit but still no data is showing in the table. I even tried changing event to Post but that gave me an error message so i turned it back to Get which doesn't give any errors after submitting the form when testing but then the linked table is not populated with data. What could be the problem? Counting on your assistance. Thank you.

I just deleted the old form and tried creating another one and after creating the table when i click on save this is the error page that shows up
Fatal error: Call to a member function getError() on a non-object in /home/mayfaire/public_html/administrator/components/com_chronoforms/admin.chronoforms.php on line 534

Do i need to uninstall chronoforms and install a new one? Cause i have a feeling that this particular one has bugs or is corrupted.

There's a bug in the Admin Table Saving code. Line 534 is JError::raiseWarning(100, $row->getError()); but $row is not defined, it needs to be JError::raiseWarning(100, $database->getError());

If you fix this you should get a more useful error message.
