date format in chronoforms for joomla 1.6

MTP 22 Jun, 2011
Hi,

I have Chronoforms for Joomla 1.6 and I want the date and time format (Y-m-d) and I want the format to be {d-m-Y}.

I have added the appropriate coding etc and yet either I cannot pick a date from the minidate box as it doesnt appear or it still appears as y-m-d format.

Can someone help me please?

Thank you.

Hi MTP,

There are several threads about the CFv4 datepicker and how to use it. Have you checked those?

I don't understand this part of your post at all??

I want the date and time format (Y-m-d) and I want the format to be {d-m-Y}.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

Sorry it is meant to say - the format that it is appearing as at the moment is y-m-d and I want it to appear as d-m-y.

I will run through the threads again but when I read them earlier and used some of the coding that was involved, my form got messed up.

Thanks,
MTP

Hi MTP,

Please make user that you have upgraded to ChronoForms v4 RC 1.9 as earlier versions had some bugs in the date-picker handling.

To change the display form use format: 'd-m-y' in the DatePicker settings box.

Hi schnippsel,

If you have ChronoForms V4 RC1.9 + then there is also a Custom DatePicker action in the Utilities group.
