Can´t add a new field.

JeLu 16 Jun, 2011
I have tried to add some extra datefield to an old form. When doing this I tried to use tablemanager to add theese fileds but got a servererror (406 Not Acceptable) and then created the extra fields with help from phpAdmin.

This form is used for editing records and all my old fields updates as it should but the new fields does not. In table manager I see this fields and marked as active (green color). Could it be that I can´t use table manager for this fields or am I missing something?

I had my ISP to change settings for security and now I can use table manager. My ISP answered me as followed:

Our security systems flagged for an SQL-injection attac (Rule 950001)

Is this correct for ChronoForms Table Manager or are my version corrupt?

By the way I still can´t get an update for my new fields. It seems that old field works as I want.

Hi JeLu,

Well, yes it is correct that ChronoForms is creating code that includes a MySQL query. It's not correct that it is an SQL -injection attack. If in doubt use PHPMyAdmin to query and update the database.

I tried to use phpAdmin and all new fields would not update (already present fields updated nicely). When I copied my form to another form it worked as I expected.

I have tried to disconnect from table and re-activate it but that did not work. Now it works so I hope this was a glich from me.

Hi JeLu,

Great - glad to hear that it's working OK now.
