Add up costs and PayPal Integration

scrinchy 13 Jun, 2011
I have a couple of forms I created with 3.1 in Joomla 1.5 that are in working order but I need someone to write some Java (I think) and integrate into PayPal for me.

We are selling a service which has a number of 'add-ons' and variations so I think it would be best if the form added up all the costs based on the users selections, and then sent the total to PayPal. It is not very complex in that the main service has 4 options from a drop down (that all carry different costs) and then there are 3 potential add-ons which also carry additional costs. So for example a user would choose a core service (from 4) and then perhaps choose 1 or more add-ons (up to 3).

In a perfect world we would like the form to add everything up based on the users selections and display a breakdown and total on the response page with a PayPal button.

I mentioned I have a couple of forms because there are actually 5 forms which are all very similar but have variances for each specific type of customer. The services and costs are the same across all 5 so it should make for some time saving with replication of code.

Would anyone be interested in doing this type of thing? Sooner than later is better as we are itching to launch. I can sent the URL to any interested persons.
Not sure how much to offer so an estimate would be good too...

Thanks,

Hi Dan,

Happy to help you with this . . . but I am about to go away for a few days to a family wedding. If you still need help next week please drop me a PM or an Email, I'm back at my desk on Tuesday.

How did this go? Can you supply us with a URL so we can take a look at your form?
