I installed Chrono forms and then tried to make a form. I spent something like an hour putting it together. I then clicked on save and it crashes. That's it, my form is gone! 😫

I get a screen which just says "http://localhost/removecookies" and "Unable to connect, Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost." I go back and the entire form is gone. I tried doing a test in Chrome and was trying to use Firefox 4 at the time. My website is in a subdirectory and is using Joomla 1.5. I downloaded the "ChronoForms_V3.2.0.zip" component.

I also had problems sorting the fields, every time I tried to drag a field to the form it would end up at the second from the bottom despite being dragged to the very bottom.

I am not normally this mad but loosing work like that is not something I've had to put up with for about 10 years.

Sorry to hear that it's crashed but no idea whay that happened. I've used ChronoForms every day for the last couple of years without losing a form like that :-(

I Googled localhost/removecookies and that looks like it maybe an error caused by mod_security settings on the server. Not something I've seen with ChronoForms or Joomla! before. The second database Connection error may be a result of the first but would probably result in the form being lost.

The drag and drop is a bit finiky at the bottom edge; you can do it by dragging the new item into the edge of the box but it's simpler to add a Submit button early on and then second to bottom is the right place.

Thanks for your reply. I suppose there's nothing I can do about this then. I do have a contact form called Rapid Contact, could this be incompatible by any chance? I also posted this on Joomla.org:

- I've tested this with Firefox 3.6.13, Firefox 4.0.1, Google Chrome 1.2.0.742.91, leading me to believe that this is not a browser specific problem.
- My Joomla version is 1.5.18.
- Joomla running from /joomla subdirectory.
- Eukhost webhost
- SE friendly urls ON
- Other modules are: Newsflash, Twitter feed 1.0.0a, SP Facebook j15, Rapid Contact recaptcha (tried disabling to check for conflict), latest blogger posts, jv facebook, fbg all in one, chrono forms, context, phpxmlrpc, valaddthis, xmlrpcmovabletype 2.3.4.

I've fixed the problem. This is an Eukhost specific problem so far. This post was the key. As suggested I asked them to fix it in live chat:

Chrono forms works as expected now.

How's things, slightly off topic but can anyone able to tell me if they are receiving a timeout error when they arrive at this sites index page?

Looks OK at the moment; once or twice a week I notice that the site gets very slow for 5-10 minutes then seems to pick up again.
