Erreur SMTP ! Authentification impossible. Language string

Hi,
when I submit a form that is supposed to send an email, i keep getting this error

Erreur SMTP ! Authentification impossible.

Language string failed to load: smtp_error

I think it is a problem with joomla or something, but I can't figure this out on their forums, so maybe you know what I should do.

It sounds as though there is a problem with the configuration of the SMTP mailer in your site Global Configuration. Mayeb a wrong or missing username or password.

The second part of the message sounds like a missing language file to report the error.
