Displaying help text in fields.

Hi

Is it possible to have the textfields display a greyed out help text
that goes blank when the user clicks or tabs to the field? (and comes
back when the user clicks away when the field is left blank).

I have tried with the default value option, but with this optoion the
user have to delete the default text before entering his own.

I hope you understand what I mean, its a very common feature used throughout
the web.

I have a help doc you can buy here with instructions for doing this in ChronoForms v3.1/3.2 I haven't had time to check the code out for ChronoForms v4 yet though. Which version are you using?

Let me check it out first, probably some small changes needed as the MooTools version and the ChronoForms styling have changed.

I've updated the document with a CFv4 version* - it's slightly different as re-formatiing the validation messages isn't needed and the JavaScript has been slimmed down to be more compact. From my testing it's working very nicely.
