Hi, Does CF4 do the same as CF3 just upgraded ? Or does V4 have less features yet than V3 ? I have installed V4, and when I read the http://www.chronoengine.com/tutorials/v3-tutorials/159-4-building-a-joomla-registration-form-using-chronoforms.html V3 tutorial "Building a Joomla Registration Form using ChronoForms" which is exactly what I need to do, then there is no similarity left to get the task accomplished on V4 with the V3 tutorial. Is there a V4 documentation / manual or something to work with around yet. Didn't find any seriously introducing stuff on google / youtube etc. ...
Pls let me know, and if it is good to de-install V4 and install V3 for now. To mention I use joomla 1.6 and haven't found a V3 for J1.6 on the page ... am I looking right ?

I think you probably have the answers to this by now.

ChronoForms v4 is still new; it is much more flexible and powerful than CFv3 but is still missing some prices of the functionality that were included in CFv3. I expect that the gaps will be filled or ways round them found before too long.

There are some tutorials in the downloads area including one for Joomla! Registration.

There is no version of CFv3 for Joomla! 1.6 and there will not be one (translating the admin wizards to MooTools 1.3 is not work the work involved).

thx for info Bob. As long as missing features can be worked around with through custom code this would be a feasible thing still, very worth to document those work around codes to interested people out there I'd say.

They get posted in the forum here most of the time. It may take a bit of searching though.

Bit by bit we'll start to extend the documentation. Unfortunately it takes time :-(
