My background is Engineering from Cambridge University, though I am new to Chrono Forms - I use it for a website whiterosepartners.co.uk which a friend who knows Joomla well built. I am now trying to do something simple, edit the text, any suggestions will be gratefully received. 😟

Hi Bob
I am using Joomla v 1.5 as the latest version is not with Pickaweb (my hosting). As the website was only built last week I presume (?) it is the latest version of Chronoforms plug-in. I have put the text in I want to change, it is saved OK but not reflected on the website (other basic changes I have done are).
If want to update my profile on here, I presume that is covered in the tutorial?
Bruce (Bruce was already taken when I registerted so hence I used the first boats name Mad Ideas (I am not sure if that was my idea or my wife's)

Hi Bruce,
You can check the ChronoForms version from Site Admin | Extensions | Install/Uninstall | Components. It could be either CFv3.2 or CFv4. Which version do you have please?
If the info has been added to ChronoForms and correclty saved (two saves are required in CFv4); then it should display immediately unless site caching id turned on in Joomla!

PS We have a boat like that too.

Hi Bob
I have looked, and at the moment it looks a bit technical for me. It is something I hope to address in the future. I have worked out part of the issue (my Joomla knowledge)
thanks, Bruce🙂
