Can the solution here http://greyhead.net/chronoforms/creating-a-double-drop-down be extended for additional filtering?

That is, 3 boxes: Chapters, Recipes, Spices
Selection of Chapter determines what Recipes are available.
Selection of Recipes determines what Spices are available.

Yes I think so. If there are many many options then the Ajax solution may be better.
